Not a fan, but I suspect it's people who through the sterotypical lense of Aregentine politics view Macri as "neo-liberal" , see that K inc. has destroyed the economy and feel that "Peronism now with added security cameras" is what is needed to sort the country.

Doesnt have a credible position on the economy, which may be his undoing.

If Macri can do a deal with the UCR and allow his blond bombshell under cover agent to unravel UNEN from the inside, doing deals with some of the more centrist players he might make a run of it.

Otherwise, sadly, it's Massa's to lose from here on in. (Not that I hold out much hope for a PRO UCR union but am firmly in the anyone but peronism camp. Like all politicians Macri has some loose afiliation there someone will point out, but ideologically he at least sounds like he might go another way.

Lets see. Might not be much of a prize of the current govt continues scorching the remains of the country.
