Here's a youtube video where they show the new McDonald's... they get to Villa 31 about 5-7 minutes in. At 7 minutes notice the police car parked. I've heard there were "no police in the villas". Another myth busted? Or were they not in the actual villa yet". Anyway they end up eating at a peruvian place in the villa called Mimi instead of McDonald's.

The city has been working on fixing up Villa 31, so I would assume they'd put in police coverage and not just throw a bunch of money at it.
