This is how the wide freedom of immigration agents works.

From translate.googe:

Argentine authorities denied entry to the country of former US boxer Mike Tyson because of his "criminal record," reports the Telam agency. The former world champion had planned to arrive in Buenos Aires from the Chilean capital, where he was not allowed to enter the country "for not complying with the Immigration Law" and announced his deportation to the United States.

Aerolineas Argentinas informed the authorities of the list of passengers on the flight Santiago de Chile-Buenos Aires, after which the National Directorate of Migration of Argentina ordered the airline to prevent the shipment.

For his part, Argentine soccer star Diego Maradona expressed in his Instagram account his strong condemnation of Chile's refusal to allow Tyson's entry into the country.

"What a shame not to let my friend Tyson in, to Chile, because of problems we can all have, when they traitors sold the children in Malvinas ... and Pinochet was a genocide," the ex-footballer wrote, provoking negative reactions from the users. of the social network, who were in favor of the decision of the authorities.

Tyson was in prison three times: in 1992 he was found guilty of rape and spent almost three years behind bars, in 1999 he was sentenced to nine months for attacking two people after a car accident and in 2007 he was sentenced to 24 hours in prison and three years of probation for possession of cocaine and driving while intoxicated.

Sounds like they did a good job. Unless you think that three serious felony convictions should not be considered when deciding whether to admit a traveler to your country. Do you want him in Argentina?

I see no issue with him here he has leveled out over the years. Besides we all know allot of convictions in the worst country in the world are fake just to put down the black man. Wake up Larson!

One more thing Larson do your home work before you run your mouth. Yes your comical but logical you are not.

Not sure why the need for ad hominems. It’s not like your own posts represent the apex of cogent writing.

Mike Tyson has enough money and fame that one imagines that nobody would get away with planting evidence on him. That’s assuming evidence planting is actually a widespread problem - which fact is by no means established.

No, he was duly tried and convicted for cocaine possession and rape. Many, many countries can be expected to deny him entry based on that kind of a rap sheet.

Left unmentioned was that he had arrived in Argentina having just been denied entry to Chile. Why does Argentina have to take in anyone and everyone? What human rights is Mike Tyson being denied?

Maradona's comments re Pinochet are as absurd as anything. "Por problemas que podemos tener todos" - such as being convicted for rape?
"y PINOCHET fue un genocida!!!" - what sense does that even make? Other than a schoolyard taunt, what does that even have to do with anything? Was Pinochet not subjected, at the end of it all, to Chilean justice? Did he not die under house arrest, under several indictments? Is the suggestion that Chile is now not entitled to have a justice system? It defies belief.
