Milei travels to US in search of new close relationships

Major Argentina Exports to USA-
Petróleo crudo, Oro, Aluminio crudo, Vino, Carne, Carbonato de litio, Miel, Limones.
En 2023, el intercambio comercial entre ambos países superó los U$S 14 mil millones.
I'm in the US now and just bought a nice big of lemons from Uruguay. Mandarinas, too.

good news. i am at my local tavern and a guy whats to talk with me because i understand argentina. he says his company is looking to purchase a refinery, airport, and possibly an airline. says they already are in colombia and equador. sounds good to me. investment headed your way

wrote that yesterday and for to “post reply”. hope its still topical

Milei doesn’t need to search anything as he’s the best buddies with the Trump and family. Trump even credited him at one of his rallies. I think Argentina will benefit from the Trump presidency to the max.
Milei was mentioned on Fox ,as being the first to congratulate Trump. I belive he will help Argentina also.

What Bloomberg Economics Says

“Milei has become the poster boy for an economic model of small state, free trade, free prices from which several economies have departed in recent decades - even though he has yet to implement the ideas he defends in full. The shiniest face of his agenda is the successful effort to rebalance a public budget that had been in the red for decades, which has helped to prevent a hyperinflation. But his disinflation plan also relies on an overvalued, managed peso and currency controls - a strategy on which past Argentine governments to left and right have often indulged. It is only when those controls are lifted - and what follows in terms of flows, indebtedness and inflation - that Milei’s model can be assessed as an example for other emerging markets to follow - or to avoid.”

— Adriana Dupita, Brazil & Argentina economist

The usual Google Translate deal, banner is in Castellano and story will initially appear in that tongue, but wait a few seconds and it will change to English.

Hey, don't look at me, it's what the headline says...

I suspect something was lost in translation, like that time Pagina12 used the word "camaristas" in reference to Comodoro Py, and Google translated it as "chambermaids"
A real shame to see some of these policies. Regarding international cooperation, th UN can always use reform, but reactionary rejection is worse than foolish. It is destructive and dangerous. See: https://www.passblue.com/2024/11/18/argentinas-right-turn-at-the-un/

Soon Argentinians will not require a visa to travel to USA? God save Miami.
