hi,

I'm going to be traveling in Argentina for the next five weeks. A couple of questions:

First, I understand the inflation situation is fairly bad and that official exchange rates do not reflect the street value of the dollar. How does one manage the situation? I assume it's not 100% safe to change money on the street, but I've heard some hotels change money at almost street value and maybe that'sa better idea. What's that famous blue dollar everyone's talking about and how does one get it? Would that be the solution? Not really sure about what to do here, especially as taking huge amounts of cash dollars doesn't seem a very good idea.

Second, how realistic is it for me to buy a local SIM card (I speak no Spanish at all)? Is it even a good idea? How would I go about doing that?
