It's called Gengi's House and I heard about it originally from Pick Up the Fork food blog (http://pickupthefork.com/2012/08/15/gengiss-house-choose-your-own-stir-fry-adventure/).
I've been a few times, and it always hits the spot! The sad thing is that it's usually half empty even on a weekend evening around dining hour, and that's why I wanted to put the word out. The location (Riobamba @ Arenales) can't be cheap to rent, and these guys really deserve to get a following going as they are so lovely and really do it right.
I had seen a few Mongolie Grill style restaurants in Canada but they were always pay-by-weight. At this place, you can eat however much you can stack high in your bowl!! The process is, you assemble your own bowl of raw meat and veg, choose your noodles (or rice) and sauces, (plus teriyaki and sesame seeds at the table) and you watch the guy grill it on-the-spot on his giant slab grill. They add some sauces for the stirfry but they are not very greasy and it always comes out delicious and leaving me feeling super!!
The prices have inflated a bit since the article on that blog, now it's 65 pesos with a drink (house wines that go great with the stir fries). Go check it out if you haven't already!! I really don't want them to go under.
