I'm quitting my job in London and moving to Buenos Aires (it was an impulse decision I made this week) I've already rented an apartment in Palermo and arrive in September... are there any regular social events organised via this site that I should know about? P

Good luck. I did exactly the same in March.Dont know so much about here but there is a commercial expat group called expat connection. You might want to look them up.
