Adri has decided not to carry her handbag when leaving the house to go shopping.
I wear cargo style trousers and keep stuff in the button down pockets.
I also use my bike to go to work, which I keep in the garage.
I find those few minutes of getting the bike out, shutting the garage door and starting her up should be as short as possible.
I also put my helmet on straight away.
Paranoid?

Gringoboy-san, sorry that this heinous incident has happened to your mother-in-law, but glad to read that she is OK..Has she being followed by these two thugs on motorbike, or just happened that you MIL was just waiting for your wife to come to the door, then the moto-chorros appeared or were they just being cruising-by thus she got robbed.?

We had lunch with Adri's mum today and she told us it was one thief who wore a helmet, was well dressed and the bike was a big black one, according to her.
