If you can get confirmation from another lawyer then I'd say it's definitely worth the trip..

Here is a matter of knowledge about SC precedents I don't have to share.
If you ask immigration lawyers, 100% of them tells you it is impossible to get citizenship without their services with legal residency. However, we know they are wrong.
