Norway has some cool new notes.

the Pucara Fighter Jet

I know I am being nitpicky and extremely anal, but what the hell....I like planes.
I think you meant the Pampa, since the Pucara is not a fighter jet.

Here is a Pucara

And here is the Pampa

Any nation that has its self interest as a priority would have chosen the attainable territorial goal of some Antarctic claim rather this...
But let's not forget that the important thing here is to replace all those white supremacists that populate ARS Peso notes with more updated and Nationalistic symbols such as Evita, Maluinas, and who knows perhaps Che Guevara, the Pucara Fighter Jet, and El ergonauta in the Future?
Of course when they finally allow us a note worth more than 10 US dollars it will either bear the silhouette of Huemul island or the face of President Campora

I just watched the cartoon (not as good as the Paka Paka one with Stallone commanding a fighter jet) and still cannot believe this issue is part of the government's agenda, or that the population swallows it

Has any Argentine, or non Argentine, ever seen a historical map or two of this country to recognize its territorial development?

Just a hint: If the Gauchos and Indians (let's not confuse them!) when deported back to Argentina had Buenos Aires as the closest port... it kinda says something as to how far south the United Provinces or Argentine Confederation had developed before the 1860s...

btw , who's not to say that the Falklands are actually originally Uruguayan? Much like with Gardel, I bet there is some historical reasonable doubt as to the true origin of El Gaucho Rivero and many of those original conquistadores.
Las Malvinas son Uruguayas!
The next 100 peso note will feature the president of China

The Pucara looks like a fighter to me. I'm not sure what it would fight but that stuff hanging off the wing ain't dingle berries.

The Islands belong to the Islanders.

Sure looks like a fighter. Sure does not look like a JET fighter.

I confused the Pucara with the Pampa. I believe it's still the Pucara that's the pride and joy of The Wings of Perro'n

The Norge notes give the impression that the higher denomination the further out to sea you are. The 50 kroner is coziest and sexier of them all.

Yeah the paka paka one is hilarious but It doesn't talk about El Gaucho. Plus this one is actually in a "museum" apparently!

edit: the paka paka vid if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

Much like the Museum of Foreign Debt, those are the kind of things I find out about in this forum, do not believe, or think them a joke, and then actually double-check and find myself at a complete loss of words

The Museum of Offensive War is (un?)-surprisingly located at ESMA
Que tupe!

I thought the chosen design was this one, not the one with the photos: Norway's Beautiful New Pixelated Bank Notes. As the resident noruega of the forum I should know but I am not sure jaja!

It's sort of weird with all this attention to the new bills when almost everything is card transactions now. I don't know what the numbers are but Norway must have one of the highest card use rates in the world. (Lots of debit cards, though, not as much credit card use as in some countries.)

What I think is interesting is that the peso and the krone is about one-to-one (1NOK=1.15ARS) yet we have bills up to 1000... Of course Norway is very expensive, but not wanting to print a larger bill is such a political thing, not wanting to admit inflation.
