Hello I have just moved here and need dental work. I have just begun working with this dentist group.
IOAT Parana 749 4th Piso.
I am having two root canals and there will be one Corona De Porcelana. I am hoping that the Corona is not the beer but a Crown. LOL
Just began the work and day one went very well. No pain while they began the first root canal. Anyone that has seen "Marathon Man"
will understand my fear of dentists!
Limited English speaking at the front desk, but they are very nice and we were able to communicate...gotta love Google Translate.
Both dentists that I spoke with spoke good English.
Will keep posting updates as this progresses...if anyone is interested.

Tu Sonrisa . I'm there every week getting more work done, they do a 25% discount when you pay cash ;)
I have spent over 100.000 peso with them this year. Really good service & pro. A couple of receptionist speak English. (ask for Karen) I don't speak any lingo bro.
I have had 4 root cannels & one extraction, plus a shit load of fillings & a half implant of some kind. Very happy.

Sounds like you have a winner there. I hope that my choice turns out just as good. They offer a 10% discount for paying cash as well. I am having two root canals and one porcelain crown. Still in the process of getting it all completed. I go for my second visit Friday 29/7

And to provide an update.
Finished my second appointment, where they put in posts and shaved the first Molar.
All went well, the tooth was dead and there was no need for Novocaine.
They covered this molar and I will go for the second root canal on the molar behind it.
This is my first time ever doing a root canal and I am pleased with the results so far.
Next appointment is to go for the second molar.

Hello mate. Can you please let me know how much it did cost you for these treatments? I’m from the UK and go to Turkey for the dentist but this time I don’t have much time so I rather do it while I’m in BsAs. Many thanks.

Hello Lanick, my apologies for the late response.
The price that I have been quoted is 17500 for a molar cap.
I had more extensive work done so I would recommend that you call them to get a more accurate quote.
They will want to obviously have an appointment and you will be able to judge whether they will be worth the visit.
I will say that being from the US I was surprised that every step of the procedure they seem to have a "specialist"
that does their one procedure and you will have an appointment with another that does their specialty.
This was a little frustrating for me but then again I must adapt to the ways of the land.

Thanks a lot for getting back. This 17500 is for a single porcelain crown? If so; it’s crazy inexpensive.

Yes that is too inexpensive and like the movie "Lost in Translation" I am sure that I have not received the proper info.
I did have a cracked tooth and they were going to do another molar but then they said that the nerve was too far down?
I just ended up having the one done and the total cost to me was $53,000 pesos. I was quoted $17,500 for one molar but
that was only a quote and then after the exam and other work I believe the total was this amount.

Today I went to a recommended dentist with a cracked premolar. I had to pay 50,000 pesos for the root canal! They quoted me another 50,000 peses for the post implantation and 545 dollars for the enamel crown. Does that seem steep?

USD 545 for a crown is a lot. I ended up going to Turkey for a week and got 5 crowns replaced for $80 each. $400 for 5 teeth and this includes X rays and everything else. She was a great dentist and I’ll go back for more treatment. Argentina got great dentists as well but I guess the prices are almost similar to US when it comes to crowns and implants.
