New Law To Close Cuevas Considered

It's simple ecomonics...the harder they make it to get rid of the conveyance of their massive corruption (the argentine peso)...the lower the price will go(they know this)...Obviously it is in the governments best interest to rob people through inflation...DOES ANYONE ASK HOW THE INFLATION CAN BE SO HIGH? It's much easier to blame external parties than look inward to the shit storm that is Argentine economic policy and social order...Useless paperwork, no adherence to policy unless it is more convenient to do so...How can you expect people to keep a currency that becomes more worthless everyday...It's like being punished for having to live here...

They wont be the first ones to try this. They did the same thing in eastern europe countries during communist years. The result was increased spread due to higher risk. The black market price immediately increased to 4x the official price., Went as high as to 5x times during crackdowns.

Argentina has taught me that there's always a loophole

Cueva peso delivery system will prosper!

My money guy has not had pesos to exchange this whole week and today told me the market is gone and he doesn't know when it will return, but will call me. Has anyone else been able to buy pesos at blu rate this week and if so, where in capital federal? My brother in law told me on 12/30 that there has been a massive police raid this week and they are closing any cueva they can find.
