It looks that this city will have a new subway line going from Palermo to Barracas. It will be named F line, and the last station in Barracas will be named
CALIFORNIA!!

Hope springs eternal....at least on the subject of expanding the CABA subway system.

Actually, compared to most north american cities, Buenos Aires has been remarkably quick and efficient at building subways and light rail. And the Metrobus stops went up practically overnight. The Red Line in Los Angeles began construction in 1985. They are still working on it. Link Light Rail, in Seattle, began construction on their main line in 2003. They expect to have it done by 2024.
The Linea H is a speedy project compared to those two.
