New Years Eve - what's the plan?

I assume you know that NYE is traditionally a family holiday here. People will be with their family and the parties don't start until 3 a.m. or so.

If you're going out to dinner, most restaurants will only offer a prix-fixe menu.
 
Thanks Citygirl. I imagine though aside from people with families there are also a number of expats not with families who would look to celebrate before midnight, and of course at midnight before partying on?
