No More Chile Reciprocity Fee At Santiago For Us Citizens

No surprise to me. Chile was far and away the most civilized first worldish (clean, safe, courteous, orderly, modern) of all the latin american countries I've visited and that's all but a few.

I think the "visa weaver" is like openin' up a big can full of worms. Imagine all the so called visiting the US for the sole purpose of tourism, but is like having an open invitation for the _perma tourist_ or in the US is called the illegal aliens to come in without any scrutiny and waved in to stay as illegal aliens.!

It's not easy for a country to get into the visa waiver program, and one of the requirements is a very low rejection rate for visas. I expect very few Chileans will overstay the 90-day period.
