Many years ago offered to bring a female co-worker a cup coffee one time and before I knew it, sexual harassment accusation was made against me. Never went anywhere but I got an education that day on kindness. Been down hill ever since.

That is really so sad. But please don't abandon kindness and compassion because of that. Bitterness saps ones energy while kindness connects and gives back.

So what if I held the door open for another woman? Would that be seen as insulting? I would have lots of fun because it is something I usually do, when I see a neighbor coming into the building carrying lots of groceries, or moms trying to make it into the building with a stroller and kids, etc, and I also do it at times for guys... so what is the deal? I honestly don't get it.

As a matter of fact I find it to be pretty rude when a guy or woman let the door go right in my face! not to mention that a date would never lead to anything ever if the guy exhibited such nasty manners. Because I think that is what they really are: manners.

I've never been pregnant, but I imagine it must be similar to carrying a huge hiking backpack. But instead of carrying it four a six hour hike, you must carry it 24 hours per day.
