I am a 59 year old man, and I have been a feminist all my life. I am not, so far as I can tell, a Lesbian.
I know dozens of men who are feminists.
Again- a feminist is someone who believes women ARE, and should be treated as, equal to men.

Thats it- thats the dictionary definition, and, believe it or not, there are still millions and millions of people on this earth who do NOT believe in equality.

My mother, my sister,my wife, my niece, and literally hundreds of my friends, women and men, are feminists.

I just came back last night from Corrientes after traveling there with 3 female friends. Often, when one of my friends would ask a man a question, for directions, etc. they would turn and answer to me. We went to a peña with several chamamé groups and the men would ask my permission to ask one of them to dance.

This attitude is not specific to Corrientes, nor Argentina, but it was weird to see it so blatantly exhibited.
