Not seeing cash option on apps like Uber/Cabify/Rappi

Hello, I’ll be traveling from USA and wanted to check easiest way to pay for travel and food services

i) reading the forum for travel apps like Uber and Cabify, it seems that cash is preferred by drivers and rides will not be declined. Do you feel as if cash is mandatory? Also I’m trying to order rides to an address to get an idea but I don’t see the cash option in both apps, has anyone encountered this issue?

ii) what’s the recommendation for best food delivery app? Just Rappi or PedidisYa as well? Again the Rappi app is not great as there’s no filter which shows restaurants that have the cash option, any suggestions? Will a USA credit card in these apps work? I suspect not as I was unsuccessful in both Brasil and Colombia in the past

1) not sure but probably geo blocked to turn cash on from USA so might work when you arrive
2) Both are the same tbh. I preferred Rappi personally. Rappi Prime is worthwhile. US card should work fine and in my experience 95% restaurants take cash.
