BridgeTEFL seeks part time TEFL trainer to assist in English teacher certification programs at our Buenos Aires center. Qualified candidates will have native or near-native English speaking abilities and experience teaching English as a second language. This position may also expand to include teaching English and Spanish classes at our language school.
Additional qualifications include:
•BridgeTEFL trainers are experts in EFL/ESL language teaching as evidenced by their professional experience and CV. Applicant trainers are required to show evidence of professional commitment in English Language Teaching. This could include involvement in staff development, curriculum development, conference attendance, published material, memberships, etc.
•The proposed trainer has substantial and varied current classroom-based ELT experience, preferably in more than one context. Experience of teaching a range of levels and different types of classes is a requirement.
•One or a combination of the following qualifications are highly desirable:
1. A BA in related fields, and a Bridge IDELT™ with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience
2. Cambridge CELTA or Trinity certificate with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience
3. MA in TESOL with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience
Position starts December 27.
You'd be payed "en blanco" with an Argentine work contract. Salary offered is $2500-3000 ARS, depending on experience.
