One Direction Coming To Buenos Aires

Hi everyone. I admit it - I'm a Directioner (not really, but my 13-year old daughter is). She's heartbroken that the tickets for the May 3 and 4 show's are sold out. Unless someone can rescue me I'll have to watch her mope around the house for another 12 months.

Does anyone have a lead on 2 tickets or possibly a connection to someone at Estadio Vélez Sársfield or the promotion company?

Ok, just kidding. Seriously, thanks for the heads-up. Has anyone been to a concert in this stadium? The only tickets available are for the campo. How is this for viewing a concert?

Never been to a concert there, but I saw a rugby match between Ireland and Argentina there years ago. It's a pretty small stadium.

I saw Elton John there in March, as sleslie said it's a fairly small stadium... I had a ticket in campo and had a great view (at 5' tall, that's saying something).

When I read "MAY 3rd & 4th", I literally thought that you made a mistake, so I clicked to see what month the concert really was.

And it was MAY!!!

I guess that they want to get their money out while it's still 8:1 on the blue rate. AMAZING! 10 months in advance.

Yup, its crazy! my 2 step daughters are going, and after what my husband spent on the tickets, i really hope that they are still "cool" by May 2014!
I know they used to love justin beiber and suddenly he's such a "tonto" now!!!!

Oh, man! I teach middle school here, and it seems like all my students (including the boys!) know their songs by heart, it's crazy!

I have learned one thing though, spending day in, day out with 11 and 12 yr olds- According to them, you are either a Directioner or a Belieber, you can not be both!

(Thanks for the heads up about the concerts- I guess no one is going to have their homework done in the first week of May, might as well make that "movie week" in class!)
