I found the opposite, it was much cheaper to throw the big party here in Arg than back home (Australia). Your having castles makes me assume you're talking about the UK ?

In any case, good luck with it all & enjoy the cross culture marriage - it keeps things interesting

It is in Zona Sur, but I definitely recommend it if you are willing to go down south...in 2011 it was one of the more economical places to get married, but I have no idea how the prices would be now.

@mellowshipslinky Close but no not the UK, I'm from Ireland. : ) Ye my mate lives in OZ and he was telling me the cost of living there is insane right now. Suppose with the economic situation in Ireland prices for weddings etc. may have gone down but it is way better value then what we are being quoted here at the moment!!
