Has there been any update regarding overstay news? Has anyone also overstayed and been banned recently? I read the post from Vossos and was wondering after two months if there has been any updates regarding cases like this.
I’m from the US and I have overstayed back in 2022 and have been back to the country five times after that my most recent stay being October 2025. Of those five returns I have only stayed for about 2-3 weeks at a time and never had issues regarding rentry or leaving the country. After my overstay the first I paid my fee and was given a stern talking to about overstay and didn’t overstay after.
I plan to return sometime at the end of this year to visit my wife’s family but I’m worried and curious if there have been any other cases like this. Any help or advice would be very helpful. Thank you.
