Hello all,

I have just overstayed my tourist visa of 3 months for the second time. The first time when I left I just payed the fee at the migraciones office in ezeiza when my flight was.

Here is the catch:

While being here for the last 3+ months, my passport was stolen and replaced. I have the police report that I made when it was stolen, the new passport, but obviously no stamp.

Also, my flight leaves at 6:30 am on a Thursday. Will the migraciones office be open at this time? If not, will they deny me exit? or will I get away without paying?

Or should I just go to the migraciones office and pay the fee ahead of time down in PM?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Mac

i would definitely go to migraciones...you pay them 300pesos and they extend your visa (only one time though), i think you should do it just in case so you don't have any problem at the airport!

You shouldnt have a problem. The same happened to me and when i left Argentina i just showed the official police form that showed i'd lost my passport.
