Overstaying the 90 day

Hi,
Does anyone know overstaying the 90 days turist visa.

I have heard you will get a fine of 300 pesos when you leave the country. I can't be bothered to go to Uruguay again, so thought about paying the fine instead.

We are a family of 4, so would we have to pay 300 each?

We are leaving permanently....
 
Hi Siljamilas. If you do a search of the website you'll find an obscene amount of discussion on overstaying the tourist visa. That said, if this is a one-time deal I can simply answer your question for you. You will need to pay $300 each when you leave the country, and the people checking your passports will point you to the proper booth where you'll wait, pay, then get a receipt. Easy peasy. Cheers!
