Hi! I'm in dire need of some advice: I have a robust work PC that I need for my job as an engineer and now, I must ship it to the US. Does anyone know of any services that might do the following?

- Ship the entire thing in tact, one side of the chassis is tempered glass (whomever did this would need to have experience with it already)
- Disassemble the PC, safely package the components, then ship (I'm wondering if this would nee to be done as a house call, given the tempered glass and power supply)

Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you!

From your other message (sorry to read about that) could I guess that you are going where the PC is going? If you take it as additional baggage you'll have control over the packing and it might even cost less that way too

I appreciate the condolences. <3 yes, the PC and I are going to the same destination. My flight plan is going to be very tumultuous unfortunately, since I'll be taking three flights altogether with my very nervous cat whose never flown before. I wish it were a viable option to take it with me as you said, but I'll be in a world of pain already lol. Also, I'm not sure how tempered glass might fare in the cargo hold?

You may need to buy a new packing case - check weights and dimensions with the airline/(airlines if it's not a through ticket). I did it myself many, many years ago when a hot PC was a 486DX and it saved so many other headaches in the end.
