"Palta King" Paradise Palta Depot in Recoleta

The Paltas sold in CABA today are mostly Hass variety, coming from Peru, Brasil, Chile and now Tucuman.
Peru has started a niche organic production.

Organic paltas must be labeled by their price tag or PLU. Organic avocados will have a "9" before their PLU type, for example, 94046, 94225, or 94770.
Organic paltas,of a different variety are available in CABA,

Big Argentinian grown avocados available from Tucuman Province. Selling like hot cakes, in five minutes, five customers bought 20 avocados, price 5 avocados x $4000. People use to buy one maybe two. Avocado Madness.

Great place, 3pm yesterday there was a line out the door. The people are so friendly. They are expanding more fruit and vegetables which are actually shiny and clean looking like you would find in America vs the usual rotted disgusting stuff you see in supermarkets and "verdederos" here.

I'm just waiting for them to start stocking carrots. My favorite vegetable in the USA and least favorite here due to the quality difference

Others may disagree but I’m actually happy that my fruit and veg down here aren’t shiny. Shiny could mean waxed or coated in substances to make them more attractive, of course, extend shelf life, stop giving off ethylene, or whatever, and those substances may be harmful.

Same reason I accept the occasional bit of chickenshit on my eggshells and I’m happy my chicken isn’t washed in chlorine. I just think it’s better like that.

The way some people act here is ridiculous. If you keep buying "rotted" stuff then that's on you. Complain to the owner or find a different verduleria. They are everywhere.

"Shiny" fruit and vegetables... I just can't...
