Paying overstay fee

I've once again overstayed my tourist visa, and will fork over the fee as I head back home. My question is whether this can be paid at every exit point, or only at Ezeiza? If I felt like hopping on the buquebus to Uruguay, am I going to be able to pay that fee there? I can't seem to ascertain this info through the website or phone calls. Thanks.
