Paying the overstay fine step by step process

Hello, hola everyone. So, I am going back to my country and I overstayed my visitor visa, which I feel stupid about, because apparently you can register your relationship with the government and become legal in Argentina. I didn’t know that although I’m not sure it would have mattered, because we weren’t dating for 2+ years at the time.

But anyways, for next time, I just wanted to know the fine amount and a step-by-step on what to do when you get to the airport. That would help me so much with visualizing everything and make me less worried, since this is my first time doing this at the airport. And my flight is around 9 pm if that info matters

As Frank2000 posted in 2022 regarding paying the overstay fee/fine at the airport:

Go to the immigration office, get the paperwork, take the paperwork to the bank and pay the fee, go back to the immigration show receipt, the immigration will print more paperwork for you, take the paperwork to check-in, then go to the customs, when presenting your passport also present the paperwork (don't wait for them to ask for it). That is it.
