Translated and apostilled. And don't bother getting it translated in the U.S. It's more expensive AND they won't accept it here. It has to be translated by a Traductor Publico: https://www.traductores.org.ar
You also need to have your birth certificate and an FBI background check, both apostilled. Those will then need to be translated by a public translator once you get here.

If I would be doing the procedure from the Embassy in the US wouldn't everything be done by the time I arrive in Argentina with no further need to have documents translated?
