Personal vs Claro.

I think all providers have issues in the center. Too many users??

As soon as I leave town, Mobistar works perfectly. Perfect 3g. Skype with camera over 3G, no problem at all. In the center it sucks. No 3g available, messages that arrive hours late, bad connection, phone calls that break off...

@katti; that could very well be the issue. I remember getting 3g service here when it was the "new" thing, and there were barely any 3g handsets offered here. The service was faster than what I'd experienced in the USA. But as time went by, it seems the networks are now overflowed with subscribers and they don't seem to be upgrading at the required phase to keep up with demand and new tech.

It's like choosing between Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini. No matter who you choose, the cons will outweigh the pros.

Some people didn't have much problem with making their choice.

I'm very happy with my Clara unlimited data plan (and they didn't require me to have a DNI) but their cell service can be spotty, especially inside buildings. It doesn't work at all in my apartment for example.
Living in a reinforced concrete building?

In that case the problem is almost certainly the building, which in effect is a Faraday cage - I have this problem indoors but not on my patio 20 inches outside the cage.

Ok 12 hours in to my Personal experience and so far so good.

Some Screen Shots.

Of course this is what it looked like 30% of the time which is why I switched.

Interesting to see that while Movistar has 2x the download speed of Personal it has less than half the upload speed.
