As of less than a minute ago:

The DolarIOL rate is $59,75 (both buy and sell?).

The Transferwise rate is $59,35 (and there is a fee which will reduce the amount received).

The XOOM rate is $63,739 (and there is no fee).

Trade shares listed in both $US and $peso. For example buy YPF listed in peso here and sell the same in US.

I'm waiting until at least next week to see what happens after the election. I remember last year when I transfered $2000 after the rate went from 20 to 25.

Within a month it was about 35.

PS: And next week I'll only transfer enough to pay the minimum due on my Argentine credit card...which I hope to pay off at a rate closer to $100 in about two months.

PS2: of course the peso could rebound next week after the election, but I doubt that will happen...and even if it does, most likely it will only be a temporary gain.
