Sorry to turn this wonderful resourceful site into a e-fleamarket, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone has a phone they want to part with, preferably a realitively simple one. I'm aware of Mercado Libre, but I thought I'd check here first as I've got about 1,000 other things to do. Thanks.

Most of the local telcos sell simple prepaid phones for around US$40/50, brand new.
 
Here is someone giving away a phone. Maybe you could check and see if it's still available.
