Hey,
I'm planning to move to Argentina and unfortunately i need visa, is there any tips or is it possible to convert tourists visa into some other status(to get residence permit)?
Also i heard about rentista visa, do i need to show them the amount of money for the year(i mean like 30k$ for instance) or just some amount each month(idk how that works), and also what are the easiest ways to get residence permit without huge sums of money?
Thanks

It was recently posted that of you are not from a "visa free" country and must apply for a tourist visa in your home country prior to your arrival, you will not be able to apply for residency from within Argentina.

$30.000 pesos per month is an obsole figure.

Search the words "visa rentista" for all of the posts I have made that include those words. Do not check the box to search only in titles. Then repeat the search without my name if you still have any questions.

PS: In the second srarch, enter the words "visa rentista" in the appropriate space, search in titles only, and leave the by member space blank.

It would help if you mentioned which country you're from. For example, if you're Haitian or Senegalese you'll have a much easier time immigrating here than if you're from Pakistan let's say, despite all 3 country's citizens requiring a visa.
