She noticed her mistake right away and tried to minimize it, but it was to late. If the same sentence had being said by someone in the oposition every government agent (including Cristina) would have made of it the news of the week accusing him or her of being pro military, pro genocide, etc...

I agree completely with most of the comments. However, remember it's her and Nestor that run the show. She may not run for re-election but Nestor will. They plan on still being around after the next election by whatever means necessary. Expect every kind of larceny, fraud, and misdemeanor between now and the election. I wouldn't count them out yet as anything is possible here.

There is a simpler explanation. For the first time EVER, Argentina is going to import beef this year because domestic supplies are not adequate. This, because of government attempts over 4 years to manipulate the market to keep prices low, so low that ranchers can't make money and would rather grow soya.
Sad for a country that was once the beef producer for the world. The Kirchners are destroying this country. She is a monster (wearing too much makeup).
