Power Cuts in the Summer: A contingency plan is being made with planned brownouts

Subsidies were the cash payments fro the government to Edenor and Edesur. Both utilities say that the rate increase is less than what the government used to pay them, so they currently have LESS money for infrastructure improvements. Milei has ended those subsidies.

The government of CABA used to also set fixed, low rates for bills in CABA. Those are not “subsidies “ but they are being revised, with many people paying more than before.
Still not big profits lining the Ede’s pockets.
