President Milei flew to Davos on a commercial airline

Macri also used to fly commercial long-haul (Air France too, if I recall)

What struck me as kind of interesting as that despite flying Lufthansa, that has a much nicer First Class cabin, the head of state opted "only" to go in Business Class. And would imagine that Lufthansa would offer an upgrade for him as a commercial gesture to the government given the "prestige" factor of carrying their business..

(Which by the way, is a grossly outdated and sub-standard product compared to nearly all the competitors flying between Buenos Aires and Europe except Aerolineas... even British Airways, KLM, Air France and Iberia give you a private suite with closing doors in Business these days).
Are you all flying business and first class all the time? Who are you guys? No wonder there is some dissonance between people here, and conurbano...

The more important question is why he went to Davos in the first place. I thought he was opposed to their agenda.
President Milei said he is going to Davos to push (his) Argentinas concept of freedom in a forum that he says is contaminated by the 2030 socialist/marxist agenda, and which is bringing misery to the world. He wants to make Argentina Great Again and stop the elites Socialist agenda from spreading around the world.

In Davos, of all places! I hope he will finally ditch Che Guevera photo from the main hall and burn some red flags they are constantly flying around there...

ever heard of business travel?
I'm obviously in the wrong business, premium economy is my reach. I'm mainly operating within Europe, so business class is not even a thing. Flights to Argentina are my problem, so I'm flying cheap. Happy for anyone that is getting those perks.

I've gotten business class upgrades a couple times via points, the fact I'm 6'6", and paying for it when the difference between economy and business is marginal. Also if it's for work, the clients will usually pay for economy so for a couple hundred dollars more on some routes it's worth it as the points pay for themselves.

That being said, I fly a lot less now that I'm living in Argentina again as my travel takes me to Zona Sur more than anywhere else to see family.

Milei's 25 minutes Master Class presentation today at Davos, was a discussion on the benefits of Capitalism. Some questioned if the speech was needed for an audience of the top capitalists in the world. Redundant?
When I listen to Milei's speech on the subject,… I clearly hear the spirit of Ayn Rand.
