Is this a problem? How would you recognise fake banknotes? Is it even worth forging Argentinian banknotes now?

It'd be hard to tell. Even the 1000s have pretty low quality printing. They're all different and the print quality looks like something you can make on an inkjet. If you look close they're all a little different when you look at the print quality and placement of the numbers.

Now that the 1000 is less than 5 dollars I don't know if it'd be worth it to counterfeit them. But I'm sure someone finds it worth it.

Cash and cash discounts are a way of life here. You'll just need to get used to it.

The current gang is too shifty, too greedy, and too inept.

How can they not be making crazy amounts of money charging 7-10$ USD per ATM transaction and limiting it to to 50-70$ USD each transaction.. Talk about winning

Av, Santa Fe 2349 , Recoleta street level open to the public, dollar blue rates are good. Bill counting machines Open mon. to fri. 9 am to 18 pm, also saturdays to 15 pm.
No need to negóciate with arbolitos in Florida, or go into shady cuevas .
