Questions About Spices

Went to Barrio Chino looking for pintos beans and chili powder. Ended up with Poroto Alubia and Pimenton Ahumado. Was I even close ? What are kidney beans - frijoles???

Try Bodega Amparo they have red/black and refried beans there as well as a range of Spices.
Most of the spices you find here are old and taste like dust.

not sure about bean names but most supermarkets have a wide range of dried ones.

You can find this in the US all over. Maybe look in the nearest chinatown?
