I don't know of any reclamation yards...but if workers remodeling an apt had a decent French bathtub to dispose of they might sell it to one of the vendors at the flea market on Dorrega in Palermo (Subte linea D to Ministro Carranza then about eight blocks on Dorrega toward Av Cordova). You will probably find benches there along with lots of furniture and lamps, etc. Open Tues-Sunday starting around noon. Happy hunting!

Try Ave Lib. in San Isidro around Primira Junta. They have an enormous inventory of antiques and such and the place even has an on site bar and coffee shop.
