Nikad Excellent price ,,, was really encouraged so went to the web page, however when checked for flights in April And May, the lowest was US$1600 or close to $8000 Arg... Am I doing something wrong?

Don´t think you are doing anything wrong, they have been runnign this spacial fare for a couple of weeks, they might have sold out most of their inventory (?)
