Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

You go through customs and when you would normally go straight out to arrivals there’s barriers and you’re funneled round past the back of Starbucks into a place where they register you. Take payment of 2500 pesos (you can pay in cash) then there’s lots of booths where they take your sample. You then Have to wait 15-20minutes inside the terminal until you get your result and are free to leave and start your 7 days quarantine at home.

are you able to pay for the covid tests at EZE with efectivo, or are they card only?

Yes they take cash or credit card at EZE Airport for the mandatory covid test on arrival. A nice little business with an army of helpers at hand.

Could you please explain about these mandatory tests at EZE. Like its voluntary or after you clear customs and where you have taxi vendors....what happens post this point. can you please give a detailed description.

Covid-19 tests on arrival at EZE Airport are compulsory, you cannot leave the terminal unless these are done. After you leave customs there is a line of arriving travellers waiting for the tests. You eventually reach the front of the line, pay your 2,500 pesos each, and have a swab stuck up both nostrils. Then you are allowed to wait in the terminal building for the results to be delivered by email. There is also a man with a speaker shouting the names of passengers in the terminal building, not sure why. We received our negative tests within a 10 minute wait, and then we were allowed to leave the terminal to go outside to take a taxi to the Paris of South America.

i love how you kicked in that "paris of south america"

I haven't heard any mention of charter flights to nearby airports outside of Argentina. Is that not possible?

lol... Paris is definitely on the down hill and has been for a while. Rubbish and hawkers everywhere - not safe in many parts as well.
I was in Paris in May 2019 and It looked more poor than Buenos Aires with beggars/rubbish/hawkers everywhere
