Hello everyone,
I’ve recently been offered a pretty good deal (even at today’s prices) for the lease of an apartment I really like. The lady who is leasing it is asking for two month’s deposit and the typical garantía of another property, however she mentioned that I could alternatively take out an insurance which basically covers my rent in case I were to default. I’ve heard of this concept before but have never used it and don’t know how it works in Argentina and/or if foreigners are eligible, and if so, how does the insurance company base one’s suitablity for creditworthiness? Our income is mostly a steady, regular amount of US based passive income and is more than enough to cover the rent of this particular place, with some peso income as well.
Any ideas on this? Many thanks
