Macri's government was really free market? It would take Argentina many years to develop a moderately free market economy. It certainly didn't do so under Macri. In what way would "improving" relations with Cuba and Venezuela benefit Argentina? Incidentally, it's not just oligarchs who take vacations abroad. I know people of very modest means who save to travel to the US - many Argentines love Florida, Miami and Disney etc. Do you think they don't have a right to travel and broaden their horizons?
No, Macri was not free market. He revival the economy model of the viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata. It was a colony model.

You are wrong. People, even in poor areas of the province, have credit cards and buy tickets on "cuotas". You are totally wrong.

'People can technically put themselves into debt and go to travel with the peso at 67 if they want' is not the rebuttal you think it is.

Improving relations with Cuba and Venezuela does not mean taking them as a model, it means improving relations. Taxes on a minority and their luxuries, like international holidays and iPhones, do indeed benefit the majority who can't afford those things anyway because their salaries have been halved since 2015. We just had a free market government and it was a total disaster, time for something else - the same thing that resulted in unprecedented growth from 2003 to 2015 would be a good start.

Ventanilla you praise these governments so much . Fidel Castro had billions in dollars in secret accounts while his people starved . Communism kills much more people than any other political system . There are many examples in history .

You sound like a living breathing Facebook meme. Fidel Castro is dead. Argentina is not 'communist' and having diplomatic relations with a country does not change your economic system into theirs by osmosis. Get a grip.

You get a grip Ventanilla and what you have been advocating on this forum is COMMUNISM . Land reform is a pleasant way of saying we will confiscate all your land and tough luck . Never was successful anywhere it was implemented .

Lol, don't feed the pro-Maduro, "think of the children" trolls amigos.

And anyone who says Macri was "pro-free-market" or "pro-business" needs to repeat economics 101.

A government that's more concerned with the majority than 30% in the middle and upper classes. A great start.
It all depends on an administration's economic goals. Economics is all about tradeoffs.

If the goal is to get reelected, the policy of economic benevolence to the lower 70% makes sense. If the goal is to build a competitive economy, then forcing corporations and the top 30% to pay for gifts to the bottom 70% is flawed.

While reading this I did the ridicoulous twice.
Sure, I guess you read the basics about Peronism:774FA32B-72B2-4AA2-AC42-711101C4220E.jpeg
Because I work about neutralizing peronism at Court because its doctrine about immigration and citizenship sucks.

There is no point in debating with the ignorance concerning this topic some people are hopelessly lost in doctrines of ignorance you can never bring them out of that. It just feeds their need to express that ignorance on a higher level. Keep that is mind when seeing their posts.
