Hello,

Does anyone happen to know about a rowing club near Puerto Madero that would allow you to lend rowing shells. I see the people out their practicing, but I don't know if they just bring their own.

Thanks,
Interested in returning to the rowing scene, in BA
Teresa

Hi Teresa,
I'm went couples of times with a friend to rowing in "el delta del Tigre" few years ago, she belong to a rowing club and they rent rowing shells, rowing boats and kayaks for sure, it was pretty cheap too, it much nicer place to row, if you like I'll ask her for more details.
Cheers

Not sure if you want to spend any time down in the Dikes... was walking by there yesterday and its quite awful with all the dead fish and what not.

You are right, kjhebert. Although Puerto Madero has much potential (high-end boutiques, seafood restaurants, coffeeshop with 22 varieties (I counted only 8), new architecture...the waters make the mud-colored Rhine shine in comparison. If I hired a boat I would take it directly out to sea.
