Puentes Abroad seeks a full-time Program Director to join our team.

Major Functions and Responsibilities:
Program Set Up and Direction
- Internships: Develop new internship sites with businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies and conduct internship oversight meetings with supervisors and student interns.
- Activities: Plan and supervise cultural activities, day trips, volunteer opportunities, overnight excursions, airport pick-ups, and orientations, together with the Program Assistant.
- Professional development: Conduct one-on-one resume and interview workshops with students.
- Housing: Develop housing options in student residences, shared apartments, and homestays. With the Program Assistant, conduct housing check ins and handle any housing issues.
- On-site support: Oversee the Program Assistant in providing general on-site support for students by handling day-to-day inquiries, as well as health and safety emergencies.
- Program design: Help to conceptualize and craft detailed itineraries for the internship program, service-learning program, and study abroad program.
- Reporting: Assist in creating evaluation tools, collecting program feedback, and compiling client reports with program reviews and recommendations.
- Expenses and payments: Assist in managing program payments and recording expenses.
Business Development and Marketing
- University partner outreach: Assist in researching target university partners and conducting outreach to pitch internship and study abroad programming.
- Student participant outreach: Create and distribute information to recruit internship program participants via online platforms, social media, and targeted email outreach.
Staff Supervision
- Program Assistant Supervision: Supervise the Program Assistant’s work in program activity coordination, housing management, and student on-site support.

Requirements:
- Excellent group management know-how, outstanding organizational skills, strong problem solving abilities, and interpersonal tact are required. Must have a proactive, creative approach.
- An undergraduate degree is required, with a strong preference for at least three to five years of experience in program management and working with international students.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential in order to effectively manage groups of U.S. students and to coordinate with local providers and partners in Argentina.
