Good afternoon everybody,

Real shot in the dark on this one but, I've had enough and miss my junk processed cheese. I refute and detest cheddar cheeseburger superiority.
Would anyone have an idea where to buy this sodium citrate stuff? The rest of the process seems pretty doable, but I'm not having any luck shopping online.

Thanks in advance, maybe its just not available in country since its a food grade chemical or something.

aha, thank you kindly. Was just seeing medical grade stuffs on Mercado Libre

I too have found the cheddar here to be awful. But you might want to give this cheese a try on your next burger before you put on the lab gloves to go down the homemade cheese rabbit hole:

Hey, not a bad idea, thanks for the recommendation. I haven't really loved the danbo cheese I've tried so far, but it's mostly been generic brand. I'll keep an eye out for this one to try.

I've found it's a good substitute for the kraft singles american cheese if that's the stuff you're looking for.

I love me some good cheese... asiago, aged gouda, edam, colby, manchego...sadly impossible to find here.

If you do ever get a chance, try the "Queso Lincoln". A very unique, semi-hard cheese down here that I found interesting.

Chile also has a semi-hard "Queso Chanco" that is fantastic, which I found very similar to edam.
