Hi again, is it locked or unlocked ? As of yesterday, baseband 03.10.01 still couldn't be unlocked if I'm right.

Thanks for the replies everyone. We already have the phones here in Buenos Aires. They are completely unopened. I have an iPhone myself and "unlocking" it is quite easy. I'd be happy to sell one or both on this forum for a price of $1050 each.

You mean $1050AR? Because one can buy an AR carrier unlocked iphone4 without a plan for a few hundred $US here. And a factory unlocked iphone can be found easily for $750-$850 here. The market on iphone 4's has dropped since the iphone 5 is months from coming out...and you're selling USA locked versions, which cuts 1/2 to 1/3 off the price since it requires the buyer to jailbreak and unlock and rely on pay-as-you-go cards (limited 3g).

I'm pretty sure that baseband is not unlockable. Unless you expect to use it with an AT&T simcard or some hardware contraption, is not usable with the local networks.

I can be wrong, in which case I'll totally accept a link proving it, specially if it has instructions for my buddy's Iphone 4 I've been trying to unlock for a while with no success because the dumbass updated it

I'm a bit late to this thread, but just wanted to echo earlier statements - as someone who makes a living partly from unlocking iPhones, I can tell you that while that combination of hardware and firmware can be jailbroken, it cannot currently be unlocked. Big difference.
