Senatgreen Light To Bomb Syria....!!

...A lot of people in Egypt are saying they dont want monetary help from the US anymore, because this "help" means that the US controls everything.

Argentina has been saying that for a while.

Well, kind of. Really, they've been saying "Just because we're not going to repay our debts doesn't mean that we're going to give you full access to our natural resources."

It's not exactly "the same", but it's in the same ball park.

No ...it's quite clear what Aegentina is saying. We don't intend to pay in full, ever. And we'll whore out our natural resourses on an as needed basis. [to anyone with $$$$]

Assad has been in power for 13 years actually. He's an eye doctor who studied in London. Up until the point the USA decided to destroy Syria, he was called a reformer. Then we started destabilizing his country and overnight he became a ruthless dictator. Im not saying he's not a dictator. Just pointing out the blatant propaganda. Either way it is up to the Syrian people to decide his fate.

I don't care how they depose Syrian Bashar Al-Hassad dictatorship lasting for 40 years. Same as they did with Mubarak. Ghadaffi, Sadam Hussein, and the Talibans . However the aftermath is a situation like Egypt at the brink of Civil War or Iraq. If this spreads the Gulf Arabian Gulf Monarchies are in danger......??

If Russia blocks the attack we will be in wwiii. And to answer your question. Prince bandar offered Putin a 15 billion dollar arms deal, that had been stalled, paid up front. He was also offered a gas pipeline monopoly with the GCC. Putin was furious. Russia can't be bought.

Also Syria is not the " last country " friendly with Russia. Quite the contrary. Russia has great relations with Iran Iraq Lebanon AND Syria. Where do you think they plan to put the russian iranian pipeline? The new Egyptian leadership is also friendly with Russia. Libya, before it was destroyed and turned into warring fiefdoms was also very friendly with Russia. The only countries that aren't on great terms with Russia are the gulf monarchies.

Nothing has been proved so far regarding the origin of the chemical attack (a rebel tribe hitting on purpose another rebel tribe? etc.).

An attack would be illegal as of now.

It's the last country friendly to Russia in the region. The gas pipeline that will benefit Iran would be destroyed, then Iran would be bombed if this country turns hostile. Then it would be the perfect time to knock off the Hezbollah.

It's quite an explosive situation. Let's hope the scenario is not already written... And then the Dollar would get back some respect as a safe harbour, that would be good for the Weapon industry, would make people forget a bit about the crisis and dream while watching on CNN those night live bombing with all the lights & such.

If Russia blocks by any mean the attack, then Chechens (financed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) will launch attacks during the Olympic games, etc. If Russia accepts, then they'll get something in return but what?

If America had not joined the war and agreed to help protect NZ then the NZ soldiers would have been pulled out of Europe to help protect NZ from the Japanese.

Which would have been a disaster because the NZ soldiers were so crucial to the allies winning WWII :p

Looks like a lot of U.S. citizens are really upset about the whole Syria thing. Congress and the Pres. are having second thoughts. This is a pleasing occurrence. Sooner or later, our citizens are going to wake up to all this BS. Hopefully sooner.
