Sending A Couple Boxes To Australia

Any advice from someone who has shipped internationally?
I have to ship two boxes to Australia...
 
I made my first shipment to the U.S. last week. Have been tracking. So far it's in Miami ans should be delivered. Have local friends who say going out is good. As long as it is certified.
 
My friend tried to send boxes back to NZ and she was told that you can only send boxes to USA and UK (not NZ or Aus). I took her stuff to the states with me and sent it from there. This was in 2012.
