Sending txt msg with my movister cell to north america

Ugh, that's crazy! Sounds like someone is treating your phone number like a land line instead of a cell. What carrier do you use?

In Argentina I'm with Movistar, and it doesnt work with the 2 biggest providers in Belgium (Proximus and Mobistar). I'm not sure about the 3th provider (Base) as I don't know anyone who uses this.

It is true I feel like I am stalked every time someone sends me a text. Especially when I leave my phone on at night (only when my kids have gone out)... It rings every 2 hours!

hey all! it finally worked out and my boyfriend received my txt msg in Toronto. I have prepaid movistar service and put down the number as following: +001 647 3386***
so basically +00(code of country) (code of city) (the phone number)
